GPU prices just climbed 15% in a single month, according to fresh pricing data tracked across 10 countries by TechSpot. When averaged across all graphics card models, the market now sits 28% above launch MSRP, excluding the RTX 5090. TechSpot excluded the RTX 5090 because it is an extreme outlier, and they say it's not really a gaming GPU.
NVIDIA still lists it at $1,999, but the cheapest available model in the US now costs nearly $5,000, or 145% above MSRP domestically and 136% globally. On average, GeForce cards overall rose 19% month over month, while Radeon GPUs rose 11%. That aligns with earlier reporting that RTX 50-series prices climbed as much as 41% in a single month, so this appears to be a continuation of that trend.
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is now the second-most inflated card on the list, priced 70% above its $429 MSRP in the US and 53% above MSRP globally. Meanwhile, its 8GB sibling sits at just 14% above MSRP worldwide, which makes this split very interesting. Read full story
